Hi, I’m Debs.
I help smart women who are serious about their self-development make better decisions – by learning to trust what they already know.
I do that through tarot, Reiki energy healing, oracle cards, and coaching from empathy. Not as separate things – as a toolkit, used together, grounded in real life.
My story
I’ve always been interested in people – because it helps me understand myself.
From a teenager loving art and music, discovering Freud and The Smiths and everything in between, to moving from the North to London – I’ve spent my whole life curious about what makes us who we are, and why we find it so hard to hear ourselves clearly.
Growing up with quite a turbulent home life meant I was always looking for answers. Learning to read tarot gave me something I hadn’t found anywhere else – a way to trust myself. Not because the cards told me what to do, but because they helped me see what I already knew.
Reading and re-reading books like The Celestine Prophecy, practising finding synchronicities, training in Reiki, completing degrees in Art, Psychology, and Teaching – everything pointed in the same direction. Helping people hear themselves think.
Why The Empress
An archetype is an inborn, instinctive pattern of thinking and behaving.
The Empress is the mother archetype – growth, nurturing, the energy it takes to create something, and showing love to yourself and others.
My birthdate is the third. The Empress is the third card in the Major Arcana. As a teacher, a mother, and a Reiki Master – the archetype chose me as much as I chose it.
